Qualtech designed and developed a video on-demand portal for Modern Streaming India using Ruby on Rails and MySQL. When a high-res video is uploaded, the system automatically encodes it into various customized formats to enable viewing on slow bandwidths. It also automatically uploads the encoded content to a CDN (AKAMAII) for faster and secure delivery. The solution is also available on mobile and tablet devices.
